Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for endorsing, interpreting, and enforcing the objectives and procedures of the Nursing Department. This role involves planning, directing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area. The Registered Nurse will conduct daily conferences with unit staff to review and communicate recent policy and procedure changes, extend courtesy to all unit visitors, and ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available on the assigned unit. Additionally, the nurse will provide consultation for unit personnel, resolve immediate problems, and communicate actions to the Unit Supervisor.
Responsibilities
The work environment includes mandatory orientation sessions from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. It is crucial to attend these sessions, especially on the specified orientation date. After orientation, buddy shifts are scheduled from Wednesday to Friday during the assigned shift. The standard workday is from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. The position offers a 12-month contract-to-hire arrangement, with holiday pay at 0.5 if worked up to 7.5 hours. Once converted to a permanent position, it becomes a union position (1199) with potential benefits such as a sign-on bonus or student loan forgiveness, a 403b plan, and an employer-paid pension. The facility hosts over 200 contingent workers and is women-owned and founded.

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $58.00/hr.

- Good oral and written communication skills

- 6 months of experience in a similar role
